  1. You should be able to do them through adult education evening classes.

  2. You don't say whether you just want to sit the exams again or whether you want to go through the whole course, bearing in mind that the syllabi may have changed since you originally took the exams.

However, if you want to take the courses again, surely there must be some colleges in Bristol where you can go to evening classes?  If you simply want to re-sit the exams, try telephoning your local college as they may well take you as a private candidate.

The following do accept private candidates but you will need to check if they do the same exam board as you.  Also check that they will monitor your coursework:

Clifton High College Road Bristol BS8 3JD 0117-9730201

Filton College Filton Avenue Bristol BS12 7AT 0117-9312121

Sir Bernard Lovell School - Bristol - 01272-322898

St Thomas Moore School Horfield Bristol - 01272-616011

Backwell School, Station Road, Backwell, Bristol, BS48 3BX 01275-463371

Bristol Cathedral School, College Square, Bristol, BS1 5TS 0117-9291872

Filton High School, New Road, Stoke Gifford, Bristol, BS34 8QT 01454-862400

Mangotsfield School, Rodway Hill, Mangotsfield, Bristol, South Gloucs, BS16 9LH 01454 862700

St Katherine's School, Ham Green, Pill, Bristol, BS20 0HU 01275-373737

St Mary Redcliffe and Temple School, Somerset Square, Bristol, BS1 6RT 0117-3772100

Withywood Community School, Molesworth Drive, Bristol, Clevedon Community School, Valley Road, Clevedon, BS21 6AH 01275-876744

Check the specification details for each board on the following sites:

    Oxford, Cambridge & RSA (OCR)

    AQA

    http://www.aqa.org.uk/qual/gcse.php

    EdExcel

    Hope this helps
