Where can I really get my divorce papers for free?

Does any one know a web site where I can get my divorce papers for free? I go to all these web sites that advertise for free but then you have to register for 39.00 I dont call that free how can they say free? I need a copy of my papers because Im adopting a little girl and it is required. I divorced over 10 years ago and I dont know where those papers are. I had know Idea I would ever need them. I may have even burned them for all I know. Kidding. Is there an easy way of doing this? I now live in Ca, divorced in NY.

The city and country your were divorced in clerk of the court record division call the with info> Give money>  Might try the same place and see if you can access there records>Online>

Speak to the lawyer you used or the courthouse where the divorce took place they will usually send you a copy.

You can get them from the county court clerk you will file for divorce in - they don't usually charge for the forms, just to file them.  There is a state by state "Friendly divorce guidebook" that includes common forms for that state - including basic child support forms and calculations.
