Where can I recycle my plastics bags?

I have 5 full large leaf trash bags full of plastic bags...where is a good place to return them?

I used to work at a place that said they recycle them and all they did was take them out back to the dumpster.

at our supermarket they have recycle bins to put them in

As in like Ziploc? I know that Stop&Shop takes their bags back. I'm not sure about Ziploc. Try rinsing them and reusing them. Not for food, but like storage. I always throw things in Ziploc bags for storage.
