We want all the basic things like blenders and cast iron skillets. Is there a store that specializes in goods that are NOT made in sweatshops?

  1. Fair Trade is focused on exports such as coffee, cocoa, sugar, tea, honey, bananas, cotton, wine, fresh fruit, flowers and handicrafts.

As far as cookware goes - maybe trying to be a bit more "green" would be the step to take.  Greenfeet has a gift registry, and they also carry Fair Trade items, along with cookware and housewares.  Green and More is another similar site.  Check them out and see if you like any of them.

I'm glad to hear you are being so considerate on your wonderful day!  Enjoy it!  (And congrats!!!)
