where can i report a daycare worker that is under investigation for child abuse by DSS?

  1. First off does the daycare know that the worker is under investigation. If they don't then I would suggest that the director be notified first and also contact the Department of Family and Children Services in your area.


  2. Call Social services.

    They will most likely already have a case worker investigating this worker

  3. The State regulates daycare. Probably under a department such as helath and human hygiene

  4. your local licensing agency is where you should report it.  i'm surprised this working is at the center if she's under investigation.  she should not be allowed near the children until the investigation is complete and she's been cleared.  

    also, bring this to the attention of the director and your local licensing agency.  you need to be pro-active.
