  1. The place you bought them. Obviously.

  2. No, the salon or wherever u bought them should take them back.

Under the Sale of Goods and Supply of Services Act 1980, goods should be of merchantable quality,as described, fit for purpose and correspond to sample.

So if your straighteners aren't like that you are entitled for a refund.

Your contract was with the shop not with the GHD factory when u bought them, so bring them back to the shop with proof of purchase and it's up to the shop to deal with the GHD company cos that's who their contract is with...

However, you don't say how long you've had the straighteners so if you've had 'em a while and the cord problems are just from general wear and tear you're not really entitled to anything unless that's covered in a valid guarantee...

So if they're reasonably new, like bought in the last 3-6month and the problems are not your fault and u have receipt bring em back to shop and cite the Act above and make sure u get reimbursed.

  3. You might be able to take it back in any of the Peter Marks shops,i dont know

  4. Where you bought them from.

  5. Wherever you bought them from!

Otherwise contact their main website & ask.

Oh and don't wrap the cord so tightly around them in future! That's what ruins the cords!

  6. The GHD is funny that way. I got mine at chiristmas and you have to register them online with the hologram label on your cord.... The salon where you bought them won't take them back - they have to be sent direct to GHD!!

    >Or just do what every one else does and repair the cord with electrical tape??<
