I'm going to be applying to design school this fall, hoping to major in industrial design and/or furniture making and would very much like to see the portfolios of other students applying and currently in design school to see a) how a portfolio should be set-up / what it should consist of, and b) the level of talent for students applying and/or in their first few yrs at design school.

any help would be much appreciated.

You might be able to find some stuff and ideas at idsa.com

For portfolio and ID tips look at core77.com

You can also sometimes view portfolios from schools by typing in "industrial design art center" and google may be able to pull up a few portfolios for you base on that.

Some schools don't require portfolios - keep that in mind - but most do.

Here are two portfolios - mine and another kids - that are online.  Most of us have to create .pdf files and don't have to have a website.
