Where can I see the Perseid Meteor Shower (in internet)

I´ve only found this and suppose there would be a live broadcast or somthing:

The time to look is during the dark hours before dawn on Tuesday, August 12th," says Bill Cooke of NASA's Meteoroid Environment Office at the Marshall Space Flight Center. "There should be plenty of meteors--perhaps one or two every minute."

Any Info???

  1. Like everyone else said, there are about ten reasons a live video of the meteor shower just isn't practical.  Follow the link for lots of pictures though.

  2. There are not any live internet showings of meteor showers (not popular enough like UK football). Just use your naked eyes and look toward the constellation Perseus preferably between midnight and dawn. Problem is it is a full moon approaching so it is likely you will not see more than one every two to three minutes. Unless that is you are in a very dark area with no Moon in the sky, then maybe 1 a minute at best.

  3. You can just look into the north east towards the constellation Perseus.

There couldn't be a broadcast because stars and meteors are too dim and quick to be easily captured on film.  Especially live film.

If you have overcast in your area, you're out of luck!

That's the beauty of celestial events though, because anyone in large chunks of the Earth can just look up and all see the same things.  With no technology.
