I have a pair of new Risport Super Cristallo size woman's 9.5 figure skating boots and have not been unable to sell them on ebay or local skating clubs in the Des Moines Iowa area. I am trying to find away to sell them online or through a consignment shop perhaps through a skating club. Does anyone have any suggestions?

  1. ebay

  2. If you have it at a store to be sold for you, you will get almost noting for them. You can go to your local grocery, or toy, or ... store and ask them permission to advertise you good there. You can always tell other skaers or coaches about it. Wiht this form of networking you are bound to sell them

    GOOD LUCK!

  3. We founded isk8coach.com in order to connect skating students to coaches across the United States.  As well as offering a networking service for all of our members, we also provide opportunities to dive into the world of figure skating in many different ways, whether you enjoy conversing in one of our skating forums, reading up on the most recent skating news, locating a new club or rink, or taking some of our member-inspired polls.  As we grow, we promise to find every way possible to get you into the world of figure skating, which has the sixth-largest fan base than any other sport in America.

  4. Try rainbosports.com.  They sell used skates and blades on consignment.

They have stores in the Milwaukee/Chicago area, but I believe have people contacting them world-wide.  :)  Good luck!

  5. Here's a couple online sources:

    Used Skate Exchange

    Grace's Skate Closet

    Have you tried:

Garage Sale - Des Moines FSC

Have you checked the local pro shops (not the clubs)?  Where I am there are a few pro shops that sell used skated on consignment.

Sometimes rinks/clubs have a bulletin board where you can post used skating equipment for sale.

A last resort - though you won't get anywhere near what you paid for - Play It Again Sports.  http://www.playitagainsports.com/  They sell all kinds of used and new sports equipment - including skates.

    Hope that helps!
