Question:

Where can I sell homeschooling supplies?

Ebay doesn't allow the sale of Teacher Edition textbooks, which I have many of and need to sell. I've looked at many sites and they seem to have no activity at all, which worries me. Any suggestions?

  1. I'm sorry to hear this, I strongly believe in home schooling.

you must know that you are in competition with all the book stores in the country like Barnes and Noble.

My guess you may have to find each organization or group in each neighborhood and try with them.  Almost like door to door.

  2. Set your price and sell them as used books on Amazon. That's where we usually get all of our supplies.

  3. Attend a local HS swap.  Many HS'ing groups should be putting them on this month, and through the summer.

Try The Old Schoolhouse magzine's auction site:

    http://homeschoolbuy.com/

Or the free advertisements at The Homeschool Buyers Co-op:

    http://www.homeschoolbuyersco-op.org/

    Or VegSource:

    http://www.vegsource.com/homeschool/

Also, there might be a local/regional swap board in your area on Yahoo or Google Groups.  I own/moderate a local group.  I'm also on some others dealing with certain materials.  However, these groups won't have anyone to back you up if a deal goes bad.  That's why I only work with local people I know, or online people I trust.  I also own/mod. a swap board for other users of my curriculum.

I hope you find a place!
