Where can I sell my boat?

My husband and I have been trying to sell our boat for like 4 months and just can't get rid of it. We have had it in the paper, craigs list, myspace, and reduced the price multiple times. Is there somewhere I can go to sell it. Like for a car I would sell it to a car lot, do they have boat lots?

  1. Depends on what sort of boat it is and how much you want for it. E bay is a decent bet if it is small and cheap, a broker if it is big and expensive.

  2. what kind of boat how much and where are you located state we are interested in buying a boat lol

  3. it should sell pretty soon wait til summer and in the paper say stuff about how clean it is

  4. craigslist...

  5. eBay or a boat catalog.

  6. look at a used boat store and ask them how it worksif they'll buy it or consign it.. also if you have a marina close post a 4-sale on their bulletin board.

  7. If you had provided more information it would be of help such as make, model, hours on the engine(s), general condition, etc. This is said for you mention having "reduced the price multiple times" and that makes it seem like you could be overpriced. You can can get pricing from the NADA web site at the link provided below.

There were some good suggestions made in other's posts but I am really surprised that craigslist did not work for you. Did you include photo's of the boat in your listing with them?

  8. tak eit is places that sale boats made they will give you a trade or a credit

  9. try www.Boattrader.com and see if they have an office near you. They take a picture and will put your boat online and in a boat trader magazine for a small fee, and the add will run until it sells, I've had good luck selling cars in auto trader, I'm sure boat trader will work for you to. Good luck.

  10. Try Ebay
