  1. I am not into comic books; but, I have talked with people who go to comic book shows.  There are sales shows for everything these days:   guns,  old magazines, coins, and on and on.  I would goggle locations and dates of a comic book sales show.  Or ask someone in a mail like a baseball card shop owner.  Actually, I think the baseball card guy would be your best bet.  They don't have a conflict with what you are selling. Good luck.

  2. You could make a Catalog and post the Catalog to every letterbox.

Some one would love to read it and buy it !

  3. If they are worth anything you can sell them on ebay, that is what I do.

If you have a bunch of comics that aren't worth anything, I suppose you could sell them at a flea market or something.  Many people are surprised to know that not all comics are worth much.

  4. I've been thinking about this subject a lot lately.

Every comic book shop I've ever visited has a section for local talent. They have nothing to lose but some shelf space. Some have a little art gallery behind the register. You can ask them to hang some of your work there.

You can sell them yourself at conventions and what not. Your best bet is probably the web.

If I were you, I'd make my own website, with a daily or weekly strip to build a readership. You need a store section where you can sell your comic books, shirts, posters or whatever and easy way is to use Cafepress or one of the sites like it. You just upload your work and they print it when the customer orders it. It has a low monthly fee, and you only get a percentage of the sale. But you don't have to pay for a big print job up front and they handle the ecommerce hosting for you.

Eventually you'll need to use a print shop in your area. Call around find out what their minimum order is. Find out what sort of products they can print. Also, find out what file type and format they look for. It will help you to know that stuff as soon as you can find out. That way you can make more money yourself rather than paying someone else.

Some examples of web comics that I read are:

PVP Online. Scot Kurts over at PVP sells books about web comics and the business of web comics.

Penny Arcade is another good one.

    Good luck.
