Where can I sell my old clothes besides a yard sale?

Question

I have clothes that I wore throughout the years and want to get rid of. They're in good condition and I want to know where I can bring them to get cash in return?!?

Hey! Look up on Google if there are any Consignment Shops near your home. These stores sell your clothes for you, and you receive money for them once they have been sold. They will usually only take them if they are in good condition (so good thing yours are) but if one store doesn't take certain items, there are probably several more near by. Keep trying until you've sold them all :) Good luck!

(if that doesn't work, you can always try Ebay as well!)

Here are some good solutions to earn extra money.

1. If they are in good shape you can sell them over EBay!

2. Second hand thrift stores will buy them.

3. Have a garage sale.

4. Sell to a friend that does flea markets or sells used clothing.

5. Sell to your friends.

Here are some good solutions that will not earn you money.

1. Give to a friend or relative.

2. Give to a charitable thrift store.

3. Give to a church.

4. Give to a homeless shelter.

I hope this helps, but whatever you do. Please do not throw them away even if they are not in the best of shape!! There are already too many nice or still wearable clothes rotting in landfills. :)

If you cannot find anyone to take them then drop me an email and I may be able to help. We are always looking for used clothes or sneakers for our family. Maybe we can use them!  If they do not fit us, then maybe we can find somebody who will take them. I hope this helps!

List them at http://www.craigslist.com

Sell them on eBay.

You can try opening up a blog-shop. :) Use either Livejournal, Xanga or Blogger, or other hosts.
