Question:

Where can I sell my used/new items?

I'd like to sell some things (clothes, purses, cameras, PDAs...just about anything...we are moving and I would like to sell some things to help with the move) and I know of eBay and iOffer, but I do know that they charge quite a bit if you don't sell and quite a bit just to list. Does anyone know a good online site to sell your used or new items? If so I would like to have a heads up. Thanks

Make sure to be careful if you are selling electronics or expensive items to be very careful.  I have run in to a ton of scam artists from selling some of my electronics when I updated.  Beware of people who want you to ship to other countries!  They will offer to pay you more and pay shipping!  They will offer the sun.  If you are using Amazon ask them to use the escrow option.  If they say no they probably just want to rip you off.  Short of that tell them you must have the funds in your posession prior to shipping.  If they are scum (Ooops!) scam artists that will lose them.  Know that just because PayPal states the money is there does not mean it is.  Immediately tell PayPal to issue a check in that amount.  Once you get it, then you can ship.

Some buyers will balk at you not shipping before you get the money but if you explain why and offer to split the escrow fees if they would prefer that, should ease their minds.

    Good Luck and Watch Out!

Sometimes I just donate the items to the women's center and take a tax deduction.  Less work and aggravation!  ;)

  27. they don't charge that much, more like pennies on the dollar, just don't sell stuff on there for thousands and you'll be fine

  28. www.eBay.com

    www.amazon.com

    www.blackmarket.gov (just kidding)

  29. EBAY is not that much. its worth it. Try Craigslist .....
