Hello! Although about 30 minutes from downtown, there is a well stocked used book store in Tinley Park. It is located in the Walmart plaza on 159th street. Good Luck finding the right book or selling any! :)

Use yahoo yellow pages to search for used book stores.  Most sellers will also buy from you.  They usually offer a lot more in store credit than they do cash, but you'll make more than you would in a garage sale or something like that.

I would try to sell my goods at a flea market. Bookstores give you what they want  based on the title...this way you can set your price and sell other items you may have thought of getting rid of!
