My dad is turning 50 next month and I would like to get his old glove fixed. A while ago he had found a place in NYC that does a lot of work for the pros repairing and putting patches on their gloves from the companies that sponsor them when in fact its another companies glove. I've looked on here and it seems that everyone says to just get a new one UNLESS its an A2000 which happens to be the case. So you have an idea of how old it is him and his buddy collected cans and bottles until they had enough money. The glove can't even be used anymore because it is so soft that when a ball hits it it basically just bends the glove out of the way and it keeps going. It also has a little bit of mold because it got lost in our garage. Other than the mold and how soft it is it seems to be in good condition. There are no tears or anything and only a little bit of cracking on the palm on the inside. I know that it can be made like new again so does anyone know of a place? Most of them can do it by mail so location doesn't matter but I am in New Jersey about 45 minutes from the city. And anyone have any tips on what I should look for when I am searching th internet for a place?
