Where can I start amateur Boxing?

I live in chicago and want to start amateur boxing, is there any place, website that can help me. any help is appreciated

If you're not familiar with the "Windy City Boxing Gym", you can consult the boxing directory on the internet.. Just go to boxinggymdirectory.com and it will give you names and addresses to gyms around the world and especially here stateside...After that, it's all on you...

go to a boxing gym and sign yourself up with USA Boxing, get yourself a trainer and learn to fight. if you send an email on amateurboxing.com tell her where you live and that you are looking for a trainer and she can send you a contact.

Here is a very good site that lists the top boxing sites including Chicago.

Go through them and do your homework well. Ask lots of questions and go see the environment and boxers for yourself.
