Where can I stay in Poole Dorset that allows smoking?

I want to stay in Poole Dorset for few day. I MUST be able to smoke in my room! Is there anywhere that allows this? Help!!!!!

I'm afraid that it's now illegal in the UK to smoke in ANY enclosed space specified for public use, so there won't be anywhere you can stay where you can smoke inside.

Maybe try to find a hotel that has a covered outdoor area for smoking.

Poole Power Station, that's were all the PUFFS congregate, you may gather I am not a fan of Smokers

Most of the caravan holiday parks allow smoking, otherwise you may be out of luck as the smoking ban may come in to rule in a B&B / hotel. You can always try camping Just don't set fire to the tent!

A lot of people answering here don't know what they are talking about.

A hotel room is NOT a public place and therefore hotels can have designated smoking rooms.

The best thing you can do is find a few hotels you like and contact them by telephone asking if they offer smoking rooms.

I think people misunderstand the no-smoking laws. By law you cannot smoke in any PUBLIC areas of a hotel, e.g. the bar or reception, but you can smoke in your room if the hotel allows it, as this is considered a private space.

It is ILLEGAL to smoke in ALL hotel rooms and public places in England.

Its against the law to smoke in any public place or partially covered public place in England. You cant have a smoking room like you used to get. some places have a shelter outside, but mostly your relegated to smoking in the street.
