Where can I store a boat in a city?

I am planning on buying a fishing boat soon if I can find a place to store it. It'll only be about 14-16 feet. The homeowner's association won't let it stay anywhere near my house. The price for a storage slip and the storage warehouses are too expensive. My garage won't work either. Anyone have any ideas of where it can be stored?

ask a farmer,if you got any farms near you,

how about a friends place.  give them some money every month.
