to degree level. I don't want to do a correspondence course. I can only find courses in herbal medicine or horticulture, which I don't want to do. I just want to gain a qualification specifically in herb growing. Any idea anybody? I'm willing to move anywhere.

  1. Herbs are plants, study of agronomy would teach you all you need to know about studying herbs.  You start the general course then specialize in what you are interested in.  Contact several agriculture universities and inquire about a degree in agronomy with a specialty in studying herbs. Good Luck.

  2. There was a guy up the road who was very good at growing herbs, but he is in prison at the moment.

  3. simply get admission in some agricultural university or college.

  4. This looks like a good site for getting started:

Also check out the many good agriculture colleges.  Going for a degree, you will undoubtedly have to take some courses that don't appear to be germane to your goal.

  5. I couldn't tell you myself, but the herb society may be able to help:

    and their wesite is www.herbsociety.co.uk
