I have a TV I bought in 2002 that no longer works..it's big, bulky, and I have no space for it. It's a dust collect and needs to go! Where can I take it? Salvation Army...even though it doesn't work?? Any suggestions?

  1. Because of the high cost of repair, and possibly recycling, charities, like Salvation Army, no longer accept older and/or not working electronics, like TVs. Call your local city hall or county administration and ask how to legally recycle this beast. You might find you have to pay to have it recycled - this is why the charities don't want to s***w with it.

  2. salvation army probably wont take it if its broken, if its a small fix, they'll fix it, but otherwise, just call your local trash collector and tell them to pick it up outside your house while they do their route. thats what we did.
