Well, I am picking someone up for a first date on Thursday night at like 10pm. I need a place that we can walk and talk that is safe, not too dark, can possibly aid in the conversation, and has something to look at or admire.

I am also open to places where we can sit and talk as long as it is original and has something to offer. P.s I am picking her up downtown but willing ot go anywhere in toronto for something nice to do

  1. Mr. Green Jeans..

    Is awesome!

    it's in the Eaton's center

  2. A little on the expensive side, but the CN tower is an absolotuely wonderful place for a date if not a first date. It is incredibly beautiful at night especially, with the lights spread across the entire city. She would love it!

  3. Come over to my house and bask in my wood-paneled basement!

  4. I would look into the AGO; or recently renovated ROM if you want something to look at.  There are several jazz places downtown; they music isn't too loud, so you can still have a conversation.

I recommend Susir, or a sushi place at 100 Simcoe...or if something more laid back, Everest or Salad King.

  5. Go to The Distillery District!

In just the past few years, The Distillery District has become one of the most romantic and enjoyable destinations in the City. The Distillery District is Toronto’s first pedestrian only village and the city’s only historic district. From the brick lined streets to the European piazza styled areas, The Distillery District is, as the Globe and Mail asserts, “a picture postcard draw”.

Over the past few years this new landmark facility has attracted the best of the best, including internationally acclaimed galleries, artists from all corners of the arts spectrum, theatres, restaurants, cafes and boutique retailers.
