Where can I take my dog to meet other pooches?

Dog park, but where else?

try doggie parks i wish we had one here in tenn.... but try the neighbor hood go hiking trails.traing classes or some pet stores lets you shop with your dog.............

My puppy is in Puppy Head Start and then we will move on to Basic Obedience and Master Obedience and then to Agility...lots of dogs around for her to meet.

We are also planning on taking her to Doggy Day Care at the kennel that she is receiving her training...we will do this once a week...it's only $15 for the whole day.

At a local dog park in my area a Mastiff who was court ordered to muzzled and leashed at all times mauled to death a Bedlington Terrier.  

Me and my pup are avoiding Dog Parks.

Puppy day care is great, even if it's just for one or two days a week, the socialization is the best thing for your pup.

Obedience classes are the best place to socialize your pooch. Not only do they learn manners, but they learn how to not fight with other dogs. You can even get a canine good citizen certificate from taking an obedience class. That can be very helpful if you want to take your dog places like to a nice hotel.

Take your pooch to a dog park, obedience class, a walk.  Join a dog club.  There are many dog clubs of certain breeds.  I use to have a Siberian Husky.  We belonged to a Siberian Husky club.  Had a lot of fun.

Try visiting various pet stores. I bring my dog there and we both meet friend.
