Where can I take my hamster?

I have a robo hamster that is very mean to me. I accept the fact that I bought her and I need to be responsible for her, and I am willing to do so for as long as she lives, but I really don't want to keep her. Are there any ways that I can give her to a shelter or a pet store that will definitely find a home for her? Or how can I know that she found a home? I am not going to give her away unless I know she will find a home. I won't have her living in a shelter for the rest of her days. Help!!

  1. Yeah,or maybe a local pet store would take her!Just don't set her loose! That would be horrible!

  2. You can put an ad on craigslist.com. You can put a rehoming fee to make sure she goes to a good home. You can also up the price on the rehoming fee that will include her cage and cage accessories including her. Im sure you will find someone on there that would take her. People are always looking for small animals on there.

  3. DO NOT SET HER FREE! ask one of your friends or something if they want it! im sure if you ask enough people someone will want her! make sure it is for a pet and not food! make sure they are expeirienced and know what they are doing! please check the other animals theywn...oh, and, i would give her to someone you see plenty of times so you can still visit her!

    good luck! ♥♥

  4. Post an add in the PennySaverUSA.com and I bet you'll find a home for her. Make sure its free because if you want a good home, i would post free, and to make a add and put it on, its free for internet.

If you don't like that option, call a local pet store and ask if they will take her and if anybody doesnt buy her, then you can take her back, no charge.

    Hope I helped!

  5. don't listen to the first 2 posters, If you do put an ad in the paper do not put it for free, or a snake owner may use the hamster as snake food. and don't set it free outside because the hamster is a prey animal, and since it is domesticated, it won't survive in the wild. Those 2 are the WORST you can do. look at your local rescues or shelters and their surrender policy, and ask them how likely of a chance they are to get a home, you can't guarentee a home, because some people look for certain. If you give it to a pet store, that may be your best bet (some give you money for it) but make sure they take care of the other ones already.

  6. Take her to a nearby park and set her free. Make sure it doesn't follow you home.
