Where can I take my husband and brother out to dinner as a family for their birthday... We live in San diego.?

Is it just the 3 of you? Are there going to be kids? Is it a large group? If its a group I would say Bucca De Beppa, if its just the three of you and you want dinner and drinks then I would say some place in the gaslamp maybe La Puerta (its a brand new mexican place on 4th and Market) and if there is going to be kids then I say go to the East Village Tavern and take everyone out for food drinks and bowling.

Phil's BBQ sucks! Don't go there. Don't go to Benehanas either!

Go to The Fuji House in San Diego. It's in Mission Valley. It's looks average on the outside, but the inside is SOO nice!! The food is AMAZING and they cook in front of you.

PS - They also have the best fried rice I have ever tasted!

Phil's BBQ on Sport's Arena - It's informal (you order at the counter and then sit down) but it is honestly THE BEST BBQ around!

Go to Old Town and just pick a restaurant! It's always a family favorite and a great way to enjoy the city.
