My mom has been living with me for the last month. Just yesterday she said she doesnt feel like I want her hear. I am a 27 year old guy and she is 65. Where are some places I can take her or things I can do with her to let her know that I want her to be here? I want her to know that she is special to me. I told her that I want her to stay but I feel like I need to do more. I live in Washington, dc. Where can I take her? What can I do for her?

  1. Well, it depends on what your mother likes to do. But, here's my suggestion.

Moms like to be with their children. No matter where you go, she'll most likely love it because she's with you. Although you are a 27 year old male, suck up your manliness and do something she likes, no matter how girly it may be.

Maybe take her out to dinner at a place you both like but haven't been to in a long time. Or take her out to coffee. I love going to Starbucks with my mom and catching up.

    Hope this helps!

  2. I don't think taking her places is going to help much as saying you need her. She may have the need to feel needed. Such as helping you out with things. Even if you don't require her help.

  3. I would take her to one of YOUR favorite restraunts or just show her the city!  But dont try too hard or she might think your trying to buy her out.  Give her somethings around the house to do so she feels needed! Mothers love to do things for their children!  This will make her feel needed!
