I am wanting to earn a Bachelors Degree in Foreign Language or Spanish, but I can't find anything that offers that online. (Ashford University does but you have to be 22 and Im only 18). I also just need help exploring my options and finding out what I need to do in order to work towards this degree. Any places I can call or web resources I can go to in order to find more information on online colleges??

  1. I rec good old 'PU', or Phoenix University...all you have to do is access one of their sites and they will inundate you with emails...if that is what you want...good luck.

  2. Hi there,

Not to toot my own horn...but check out my BitWine profile. I would love to just talk and figure things out with you. I too was going through the college search at one time and am an experienced online researcher. While I cannot promise immediate answers, I can promise the effort, research, and quality that will differentiate my service from others. I am a completely Certified Online Counselor. Please consider letting me help you; I promise I will give you some great answers. Just go to my profile page (with the link) and set up an online consultation session (just like an appointment basically), whenever you are available.

  4. Yea University of Phoenix is not respected among employers. Sometimes companies write on their websites that if you went to their college then they don't want you to interview. Just find a community college or a university that also offers online classes and distance learning classes.

That way you will go to a legitimate college, get credit, and can do the classes on your own time. You will have to go to the campus to pass the tests, midterms, and finals because they want to proctor them.

So many colleges these days offer distance learning and online classes, just make sure the one you go to is legitimate.

  5. you will not get the experience and the skills required to become fluent in a foreign language from an all on-line college education.  This is why you are not finding anything.  An all on-line school will be ten times as expensive as a real school.  Contact your local community college, they will offer TONS of classes on line at a fraction of the cost of an on line school.
