Where can I tryout for boys volleyball team in San Francisco or Daly City in 2008?

Im asking for 13 and 14 years of age. Want to join cause im so good at it. Theres no team on our school cause they think that boys always plays rough. Anyways please help.

May-June is the time players are trying to wrap up their season or advance to JO. There is almost no team talking about try-out.

I know you can join USYVL for the fall season. They have a branch in San Jose area (http://www.cmiregistration.com/user/org/... but you may browse for any other area.

I live in Southern California, but I am part of both south and north' list. You may send an email request to the distribution list, and you will get lots of information regarding clubs/teams in your area.

There will be lots of camps offered during the summer especially in your area, and you will be able to get information about most of them via the email distribution list.

Here below is one example of a UC Davis camp. Coaches could show up in camps and talk to those players they like to draft.

Hello Northern California Volleyball Players!

Do you have a son or daughter that wants to get better at volleyball this summer? Do you

know any friends or family that are looking for a camp to send their child to? Look no

further! The staff of UC Davis Volleyball will be hosting a camp that will start on August 1

and end mid-day on August 4. It is an overnight camp so campers will stay in the dorms

on campus. If you are looking to commute, we can accommodate that as well.

We focus on the whole game of volleyball, including sports nutrition, strength and

conditioning, and sport psychology. We will be bringing in experts in each of those fields

to do a short but fun section during camp. All skills will be presented and practiced, but

there will also be sessions where campers can work on the specific skills that they want

to.

Our goal is to provide a fun, enthusiastic, and challenging environment so campers will

have a great time learning volleyball skills. So be sure to check us out and download a
