I have quite a few Guinea Pigs and I have been trying to find out what is the best bedding for them after searching the web I figure Timothy Hay is good to use.

But as I live in Australia I don't know where I would buy it because I don't think we have it here

  1. try going online and buying it off of online stores that deliver to australia.  it's often cheaper than what they sell in stores.

the only drawback is the wait, but theres rush delivery for that.

    good luck!

  2. Try Lucrene straw, pronounced loosen. It is a green coloured hay that guinea pigs love to eat, and is also great for bedding.  Or just normal meadow straw is just as great and softer. Timothy hay is more expensive, and harder to get, as most pet stores only stock Lucrene and meadow straw. Use wood shavings in winter, as it is warmer and absorbs liquid.

  3. I think most of the pet stores have it so if you have any petsmart or petco near u i'm sure you'll find some or get it from whereever you got your guinea pigs.
