Where can a 10-year-old drive a rented ATV in the Las Vegas / Zion / Grand Canyon area?

We're visiting Las Vegas, Zion, maybe Bryce, and the north rim of the Grand Canyon for a week around Labor Day. My 10-year-old son loves ATVs but the only time he ever got to ride one was in Mexico. Most places in the U.S. are strict and rent to adults only. I've heard by law anyone 8 years or older can ride with a parent's supervision. Is there anywhere in the region that will rent an kids-size ATV (maybe 90ccs or so) for 2-3 hour excursions? Preferably right at trailheads because otherwise I doubt we'll have room to transport it (renting a car). Inquiries from private parties are welcome, you can email me.

Inside National Parks, you are out of luck.  Most areas are restricted to horses, and bikes as well, and severely limit where humans can travel for obvious reasons.  In the Grand Canyon there are very few places you can even take your dog on a leash, but that is why it is the incredibly beautiful pristine place it is so I don't mind.

I think adult supervision means "on the ATV with a licenses driver with adequate safety equipment" when it comes to rentals.  I cant imagine their insurance would be ok with renting to unlicensed drivers.   You might find some rentals in nearby towns and forest service roads outside of the park you can ride on.  

I would suggest other new experiences that are allowed in those areas. One of my best early childhood memories was camping at the North Rim (I can still remember what we ate) and stopping and renting horses the following day.  My pony outran my big brothers horses.  I was 6.  I will never forget it.

I'm really not sure how to answer your question, but I am pretty sure that at that age, you have to have an adult to ride with also. I wouldn't swear to it. I know that some places give a course, and if he passes the course, they will give him a certificate and rent yall one for him to ride.
