Where can a 12 year old volunteer in Torrance, Lomita, Redondo Beach, or San Pedro.?

I am trying to find somewhere to volunteer for the 2008 summer. But everywhere I look, i'm too young or there is no opportunities. Please give me a store/organization/etc. but not general suggestions. THanks!!

Unless you just MUST have an organization for some reason, why not pick some people in your neighborhood?

Surely someone is old, ill or swamped with children and could use some help with yardwork or other chores.
