Where can a 15 year old boy get a job in North Olmsted, Ohio?

Some grocery stores will hire 15 year olds to bag groceries and eventually move up as they get older.  I know for a fact Kroger used to do this, not sure if they still do.  Some lawn and garden places will also hire 15 year olds.  Farms will hire young people for a farm hand.  You could babysit or mow lawns and eventually shovel driveways.  Not good paying money but it is money.  Once school starts you could talk with your guidance counselor as schools have programs that place teenagers with jobs.  Swimming pools will hire young people as well for like life guards or concessions.  If you have any local race tracks, they usually hire security, concessions and like janitors to clean the place for race weekends.  Check with any fairs that would be coming around also, some hire local people to help run things.  Churches will hire young people as well for like janitorial or landscaping.  

Don't give up hope because you're only 15.  There are jobs out there, you just have to search for them.  You may want to find out if Ohio still requires worker permits for teens underage.  If Ohio still does then you will need a physical for the permit.  Your school can help you get a permit or tell you what is required.  It is great that at such a young age you're willing to step up and work to provide for the family!  I wish you and your family the best of luck!
