I'm 15 now but I'm thinking about getting a summer job next year when I will be 16. I don't have any work experience but I really would NOT like to work in the fast food area. So does anybody have a suggestion for where I could apply for a job?

  1. If you are in australia you can get a job at coles as a casual you earn about $10 an hour, you can actually start working their at 13, its a leg into work experience anyway, just be will to learn and I think you will have no problems, all you have to do is go in and ask people for work and i think you will be ok

  2. When I was 16 I got a job in a local nursing home working in the kitchen.    I worked there throughout high school and even on summers when I was home from college.

It was a great experience, easy, and fun.  They are always looking for teens to fill the part time kitchen shifts.
