Where can a find a function that will return a cladogram/family tree of plants if I enter the scientific names

  1. You will not get a tree or cladogram, but the following site will give you the entire classification of a plant.

    http://plants.usda.gov/


  2. Go to the link ... if you click the tree symbol (where there is one) next to an order name, you will be taken to a cladogram/phylogeny of that group. To find a phylogeny at a more detailed level you should Google search on your scientific name of interest + phylogeny ... this will often take you to a journal article, rather than a tree you can view but if you are a student, authors will mostly be willing to send you a pdf of the paper so that you can see the trees.
