Where can a person study english in New York City?????

I'm form south america and I would like to go to NYC (my favourite city in the world) to improve my english (like 3 or 4 weeks)

I've done some research and I found some insitutes like Kaplan, Berlitz, EF Education First and a few more.

What institue do you recommend???????

Even the universitys have some english courses you can register

I would recommend EF. They have professional people that will teach you english. Personally, I never take any course at EF, but my friend (a foreign student from Korea) studied at EF and amazingly, she can speak english now (believe me! before, she barely speak english).
