I've grown up in a small town my whole life, my whole county only has 32,000 people. I'm wanting to go somewhere with the best college atmosphere, the best chance of meeting local aussies or new zealanders (kiwi's?), best social network, and honestly, the best chance of meeting girls my age. I'm 23, and will end up celebrating my 24 bday wherever I choose to take the classes. So any info would be great appreciated. Thanks

  1. Well your American counterpart who's answered above certainly does not paint the right sort of picture of NZ, no wonder he has problems finding women.

NZ and Australia are both great countries. Australia is much bigger in terms of land and population (21 million versus NZ's steadily increasing 4 million). there are many Universities and polytech institutes in NZ. Otago university in the South island is probably most renowned for its student atmosphere. see http://www.otago.ac.nz/

i'm sorry i don't know much about things like how much fees for international students are likely to be or not, but i can assure you NZ is a wonderful country, my cousins girlfriend is American and she absolutely adores NZ and has chosen to bring her daughter over here for schooling

this site will give you more information on whats required to move to NZ http://www.immigration.govt.nz/

and check out this site for some more information on NZ

Good luck to you, i truly hope you get a chance to make it over here

  2. Go to Australia, NZ is a DUMP!  The women in NZ are not much better than hairy legged androgens wanting to be men.
