  1. i can tell you that my palm size JVC camcorder does not fit in a Gallon size zip lock freezer bag, even without the veiwer open. you will need something bigger or use an exceptionally small camera.  if this is not for broadcast journalism, but for personal documetation, internet blog or you tube, i would suggest use a digital still camera with a movie function. water and videotape do not mix well, just humidity in a sealed bag can cause the dew sensor to alarm. a still camera is easier to just wipe off if it gets splashed. if you have to use broadcast equipment, the shots should only be done from inside a vehicle, through the window, and keep everything dry.

  2. make one out of a Ziploc bag i did it works allrigt

  3. I don't think you have enough time... but Ewa-Marine makes good rain jackets and waterproof bags... Warning: They aren't cheap. (But they WILL protect your camera.)

  4. There are many places to buy one. Of course, there is the obvious to go on Ebay. But I wouldn't recommend it.

In the electronics section of most Targets, there are many Camera bags, big and small. You should look there. Or you could look in Circuit City, but I'm not certain that it is there.

You could go to any camera store. Or you could go to one's website where you can buy the bags online. If you go to your camcorders' brand's website (JVC, Canon, Sony, AIPTEK, etc.), you could find a specific bag designed for the camera you have.

Overall, there are many options. I hope I've helped. Good Luck finding the bag!
