  1. The attached  data sheet shows a snap switch base unit which can be fitted with various levers and a lever with a roller.

The most common home use for a lever switch is in a washing machine. The washer lid  activates a lever switch so that the spinning and agitation stops if the lid is opened.

The common home lighting switch is a toggle switch, NOT a lever switch.

A lever switch with a roller is designed to minimized friction and wear.  A roller lever switch might be found in conjunction with a cam in a mechanical timer.  Again a washing machine with a mechanical timer might have one. A stack of cams  each with a lever switch is rotated by a motor. as the cams rotate the different height of the  profiles  activate the desired switches.    You may find a DPDT in this application

Lever switches are used as limit switches where something like a garage door will strike the lever and activate the switch thereby stopping the motor. Industrial garage roll-up doors may have a roller switch.    A home garage door may have a lever switch inside its housing but I'm not sure.

  2. I believe the roller acts like a shock absorber and extends the life of the switch.

  3. They are used to turn the lights on and off.

  4. Light switches are snap action.

    "SPDT Switch Without Roller"?

SPDT switches are rare in a household. Not in labs.

Have no idea what the roller does.
