Someone I gave these two sites said he got a real bargain. There does not exist a "cheapest airline" each airline has

bargains in some countries or to some countries.

There's a trick to that.  Call the reservation lines to any airline of your choice around 2am and you get better fares than you would if you called during normal business hours.  Or you can check travelocity.com

I've always had the best luck with travel agents. They'll give you the best fares.
