Where can i buy BIG durable luggage?

Question

im going to be going abroad for 6 months and i need to fit all my stuff into 2 checked bags. does anyone know where i can buy a really big rolling suitcase that isnt like flimsy?? possibly one that i could strap a big duffel bag to? i need to be able to move all my luggage by myself from the airport to the train station and i will also have a backpack and a laptop as carry-on items.

im sure loui vuitton or vera bradley have luggage big enough to hold all that.

we got ours from eddie bouer..its super light and durable...so you can pack stufff but the luggage itsself is light....HAVE FUN

They usually carry some huge luggage in JcPenney and Kohls. I bought a suitcase at JCPenney that was around 2 feet wide, by 3.5 or 4 feet long and 8 or 9 inches deep. It came in a set, but I'm sure you could buy something like that individually. If that isn't what you're looking for, try luggageonline.com. They have almost every suitcase, duffel bag, and wheeled-case in the universe.

Whatever luggage you decide to purchase, just remember 1 very important tip!!  If the luggage has a built in lock, make sure that it has the red TSA approved symbol. If it doesn't, and the luggage has to be inspected, there's only 1 way to get past that lock.......break it!  Just always remember to use only TSA approved locks...you can purchase them at any store these days...Target, Walmart, Walgreens, etc.

To be perfectly honest the airlines are going to ruin them anyway so it doesn't matter what you get. They totally destroyed my brand new Samsonite set when I went to Amsterdam (they ripped the handle off, frayed the fabric, stained it). I WAS PISSED!
