Where can i buy CHEAP TEXT BOOKS???

Question

Does anyone know where I can get some really cheap textbooks for some college courses? I heard of a website that sells books with the foreign covers but the actual page content is in English, any ideas?

Amazon has good referral sites.

Check the used bookstores in the college town--not the stores that specialize in textbooks but the ones that sell and trade used books of all sorts. Often textbooks are cheaper there because they do not price to the specialized market but are trying to sell all kinds of books.

Used book buyers roam college campuses offering to buy back desk copies from professors, but often they will not take outdated editions. However, many outdated editions are only insignificantly different than succeeding editions. Ask your professor if he has an old book the used textbook buyer refused.

they do comparisons between multiple textbook sites so you can see which sites sell them for which prices without having to go to all those sites individually.
