  1. Polaroid has been discontinued, i believe the company went bankrupt but i'm not certain. The only place you can find it that's not on-line is a small photo store, no large stores will carry it any more.

  2. I know you don't want to look on EBay but there are not many options other than OP shops, Salvos or second hand stores, Polaroid has discontinued the film but Fuji film is said to fit.

    Good Luck.

    p4p

  3. They are both obsolete and discontinued. But if you still must have one try ebay.

  4. pawn shop or walmart i think has them and i saw one at bestbuy

  5. Are you sure you want to get one? You do know that they longer make the film for Polaroids anymore, right?!

  6. Unfortunately the type of Polaroid film you're talking about (600 Speed along with any other integral film) has been discontinued.

If you want, I'd suggest picking up a Polaroid LandCamera series 100, 200, 300, or 400.  They use the Type 669 film which THERE IS A REPLACEMENT FOR.  Yes, FP-100B for 100 speed black and white and FP-100C for color fits the Polaroid LandCameras that use Type 669 film.  They work rather well, for that matter.  Fuji went so far as to make the new films able to be used for Emulsion Lifts and Image Transfers.

If you want a Polaroid camera and to still be able to get the film, look for a Polaroid LandCamera.  I personally own a 210, 215, 230, and 440.  I found most of mine at thrift stores, and one in a flea market.  You could also go to eBay.

Here are some links that will show you some of the other stuff you will need:

The type 669 compatible film does not have a battery in the back, so you will need this:

This is the Type 669 compatible Fuji film (color):

And here's the Type 669 compatible black and white Fuji film:

  7. This has been polaroided.

Do it in software. It costs so much less.

  8. You use Polaroids for the look and feel. Each Polaroid is unique.

Fear not, gentle reader, your Polaroid camera is not obsolete. Fuji film still makes instant film for Polaroid cameras.
