you do not give enough info-what you are asking is like I want ot buy a cheap car engine...ok, what type of car you got, so...what type of engine you looking for, what type of cart you got, what type of racing you want to do, what class you want to compete in, if you are just looking for an engine for a kiddy cart, go to Harbor Freight...or if you are serious, go to the classifieds of what ever racing sanctioning body you want, or 'racingjunk' they have them occasionally--otherwise, get ready to shell out some $$$.

Try looking for a fresh used engine at a local kartshop or on your local craigslist.
