  1. You can buy it from

    http://www.amazon.com/gp/search?ie=UTF8&...

    Hope this helps

    Good luck!

  2. This is a tough question. I seldom see the words cheap and oboe next to one another. If cheap means less expensive than a Loree oboe, then perhaps I can help.

You can find used Linton oboes for about $400, maybe a little less, but I have a hard time recommending them even for beginners.

Some teachers recommend jupiter oboes. You can find them used for about $1000. Go to ebay and type jupiter oboe in the search box.

If you need "full conservatory system" (low Bb, alternate and split keys, etc.) plan to pay at least $2000 or more. You might find "simplified conservatory system" for about $700. Yamaha may be a good bet.

It is difficult to know what you are looking for without knowing your background and goals. Do you already play oboe? Are you thinking of learning oboe as a double to compliment sax, clarinet or flute?

I am also wary of purchasing an oboe online. Having said that, I've shared a couple of very reputable double reed shops with websites below.

I'll close with a great article on purchasing an oboe. The website is below.

Good news! My colleague who teaches oboe at a college in NC has a selmer student model oboe for sale for $600! Let me know if you would like her contact info.

  3. Check ebay I got a really nice trombone there. There are a lot of instruments on there.

  4. I got a great deal on my oboe at OboeMart in Sheboygan, Wisconsin just last month.
