Well, it depends what you want. Asda is pretty good for world foods, as is Love Saves the Day on Thomas Street. It all depends what exactly you're looking for.

Ebay!  I'm serious!

I am an American in London and there are people on ebay.co.uk that will do your shopping in the US for you and ship whatever you want over.  I personally have a stash of Crisco sticks and Progresso Italian style breadcrumbs.

You can get Skippy peanut butter at Costco, but you have to have a membership.  Oreos can be found at Sainsburys.  There are a couple of Delis in London that will also ship but I find them expensive.

Most large supermarkets stock some brands of American foods, but also Selfridges at the Trafford Centre have some American products

i would imagine that the best places to try are Selfridges and Harvey Nichols, as i recall them stocking items such as orio cookie cereals etc.
