Where can i buy battery for my sony video camera?

i had checked with Sony and they are selling at $249

its too expensive.

so i checked with Mustafa, they are selling at $199 but they dont bring in the stock anymore...

i am in Singapore.. can anyone help me or introduce ?

B&H photo video is a great place to buy camcorder and camcorder accessories- the batteries for my professional Sony camcorder are $40-$100, depending on the battery life. They sell a huge selection of batteries. But first, you need to find out what battery your camcorder takes. You can email the B&H sales department to find out which batteries are compatible- just be sure to specify your camcorder model number. They are always extremely helpful. But remember, Singappore is on the "PAL" system and I am not sure if you need a different type of battery than the "NTSC" camcorders- be sure to ask that too! Hope that helps.

I do buy all such gadgets (incl. batteries for cell phones, cameras and camcorders) on eBay. The price there is very low and I did not find a store (either real one or online) who could beat the price. Of course, it would take 1-2 weeks for you to get it, but if you do not need it immediatelly, that is what I would do.. (if you had had written your cam model Number I would have answer with the eBay link for the battery, but now you gotta find it yourself. Remember, "sony" is not good enough. You gotta look for specific model #)

Just an addition to the previous answer - NTSC/PAL are Tv systems and have nothing to do with battery. So, Sony cam model XYZ in Europe (PAL) and in USA (NTSC) will always use identical battery made for model XYZ sold anywhere.

Well... Try going to Sim Lim square... It is located at Bencoolen street... You can buy all sorts of stuff like Cameras, computers, laptops and even thumbdrives there for cheap prices. There was once when I needed a thumbdrive for school projects and i bought a 2gb one for only $30(SONY BRAND). And it is brand new.
