I am a regular golfer. I play a few times per week during the season.  I have a decent set of clubs but I was always taught that its not the golf clubs that make the golfer, its the swing!

Because of that teaching, I never buy brand new clubs.  Why waste the money?  I agree with one of the other answers to this question when I say that I buy my clubs from http://www.buycheapdrivers.com . They find the auctions for the cheapest drivers for me and sort them by brand and price so I don't have to.  Its a nice service and beats digging through grandma's garage sale.

You can walk up to any old garage sale and buy a cheap driver, But I use http://www.buycheapdrivers.com . If you want a newer driver at a very low cost I would  buy from Ebay auctions.  Its just like going to a garage sale but you know you will be getting higher quality, newer drivers.

You have 3 options. Ebay and find a used one, GolfSmith or GolfWorks and buy a component club like Snake Eyes which aren't very expensive, or look for a knock-off/clone version of the club which are much cheaper.
