I guarantee you they have it at urban faire in yaletown. But that would probably be quite pricey.  Have you tried choices and capers? Honestly I think just going to higher-end supermarkets will do the trick.

What are you making?  I had a recipe that called for it and it was for in the whipped topping of a homemade chocolate pie.  You added it to whipping cream.  I wouldn't use it again.  I thought it had a very distinguished taste and I didn't care for it.

I find that if you just stroll down Commercial Drive, you can find  all the odds and ends of pantry goods. La Grotta di Formaggio seems to have a lot of goods that almost no one else in Vancouver has
