Where can i buy laminating plastic for paper(so i can do it myself)?

Michael's Arts and Crafts sells laminating plastic in a roll, you can cut it to whatever size you desire.   I'm sure other local craft stores in your area may sell them as well.  JoAnn's, AC Moore, Crafts N Stuff.

You might get the kind that you can use with a regular iron at Wal-Mart.  If not, a craft store will have it.   You can get laminating machines at Office Depot or Staples.
