  1. Last I heard, Manuka honey in the pure form can't be bought in W.A. (that was a couple of years ago though) - So far I've only found pre-mixed products, that contain Manuka, like 'Medi-honey' in health food stores.

  2. have you been into a natural health food shop they usually stock them or ask the person behind the counter they could give you info on stockists.  I used to buy mine from health food shop in tassie but you guys in wa have more restrictrictions it might not be possible to pick it up have you checked

  3. Manuka Honey is indigenous to New Zealand.  It's not so much because of the bees there but a particular type of flower that grows in New Zealand and certain part of Australia.  Bees gather the nectar from the flower that grows on the Manuka bush and take it back to their hives where they add enzymes to it to form Manuka Honey.  It's this special honey that has added antibacterial properties that make it an extremely valuable resource used to treat a variety of different health conditions.

I'm not aware of any retailers in your area that sell Manuka Honey.  However, there are some places in the U.S. where you can purchase it without paying the added shipping from New Zealand.

If you want plain Manuka Honey for internal purposes, go to http://www.ManukaHoneyUSA.com

If you want to use Manuka Honey topically on your skin, I recommend using Honeymark products.  They blend Manuka Honey into medicated creams and lotions for a much more desirable and user-friendly application on the skin.  Their website is http://www.HoneymarkProducts.com

If you're still having difficulty finding what you're looking for, go to http://www.ManukaHoneyDirectory.com to find just about all of the Manuka Honey dealers, manufacturers and retailers.

    Good luck.

  4. It seems like Manuka is primarily a New Zealand product. I have found a site that posts Manuka to you from New Zealand, but I am not sure how much postage is, and I am not sure what the quarantine regulations are for Manuka postal delivery, as Western Australia has very strict quarantine laws regarding honey and plant products. The site does specifically have a Western Australian postage point.

I would suggest you try out your local health store. If they don't stock it,they may be able to order it or point you in the direction of somebody who does. Sorry I couldn't be more help.
